cedar needles & the little moose dearling

i am knitting a woodland cape-let with my cedar knitting needles.
i look at the branches while you read me fairy-tales.
♥ ♥ ♥
when little baby mooses are small they dont have antlers
im not sure what the plural of moose is... im sure its just moose.

but i will call them mooses anyway.
i dont want them getting gypped of a letter.
dont worry little dearling moose
you will have them soon.

thanks every dearling! ♥
they do smell lovely!
the wood is soft and
after knitting with them for a while
the cedar oil makes them shine and glow.

they arent the typical material for a knitting needle..
this sweet little old deaf man used to make them
and bring them into the store...
i couldnt help but buy them all up!

mooses mooses mooses mooses

I saw a moose in the clouds today, except it had very large antlers...it must have been an old moose...wonder what that means?

Where do you get your wood knitting needles and crochet hooks? I'm in the process of switching over from metal and I'm having a hard time finding some of the larger sizes...

Aww, what a cutie! And to think some people find moose unattractive creatures. What nonsense! I'm very happy that there are many of them in my home province. I just wish they would stay away from the highway ^^'

I am new to your blog, and am very glad I found it. It's very pleasant here ^^
