i am doll parts

today i found a fairyland book at the notting hill trust.
when i got on the bus, the meter was broken and so
we all got to ride for free... i really really really
wanted to get everyone singing "free ride"
but this is england. and that was silly.
so i hummed it in my head and said
to the girl next to me "its freeeee!"
she totally didnt appreciate me
talking. so i read my book.

Haha! I appreciate free things! The kids and I got a free bus ride once too when the meter was down. I was happy I had them with me to share the excitement! They are also good to have around if you want to sing in public.

People on buses can fear the fey, beautiful and strange. Perhaps she was shy? Or some mute, disguised lonely angel? It is good to celebrate free rides in life. xx

yes i think you are right.
she was a shy mute angel...
she was reading my fairy book
over my shoulder. (lots of pictures)
maybe she sang when she got home.

don't ya just hate when you try to make friendly conversation and the other person is anything but friendly! at least you had your book to turn to.

btw, love the photo titled "i love books"..very creative, simple, and sweet.

...hi again! I've been trying to figure out how to change my "comments" on my blog to another word and just noticed how you have done yours. "Owls" & "Little thoughts from a mouse". May I get your secret as to how you went about that? Is it a code? You don't have to post this ;)

Thanks!
