the little gloves
i knitted these little white rabbit wrist-ees. as soon as i saw the film i couldnt help myself. i made up a knitting pattern too... would you like it? ive posted it over on my *knitting blog* ...its free ♥
in theme i found this old set of alice books at kempton last week.
they are pretty tiny... they have gold pages and really nice illustrations.
ive been meaning to post them ♥ but ive been lost in a book of ships.
and then i fell down in a patch of violets.

Lovely lovely! Really adore your cute little rabbit toy, it's oh so sweet <3
Ps
Sadly I do not knit, have tried to learn many many times but still can't, however that gives me all the more reason to admire your wonderful work :)
Oh, they are so sweet! And the books...how lucky you are - now that is indeed serendipity finding such treasures amidst the 'Alice' madness x
Such sweet gloves...and you have frilly legs :o
I am going to check the pattern, I hope it's simple enough so I can do it!
You live in a world that I would so much like to see myself!
Beautiful! I want books like that, too... Where did you get them?
Love the books, a good find, but mostly I love that tree mirror in the background! x
I love the way you write. I want to fall down in a patch of violets! The wool look so beautifully soft.xx
Those pictures are gorgeous! I wish I could see what you're wearing properly, it looks amazing!
What year are these books from?
(I have 1918!)
They are beautiful...as are the photos! xxx
thanks yall!
i got the books from a lady at a flea market.
she didnt really seem to know about all of the
alice buzz.. i actually got them to sell.. then
decided to keep....eek ♥
they arent really all that old.. they are from 1931..
i have another copy though that has stamped illustrations on every single page..its really old.. but i dont know how old because it doesnt have a date anywhere!!.... its really funny though because alice is playing golf on the spine! and then on the cover she is playing tennis! strange!!!! i darent do another alice post though its so overkill isnt it!!!
oh, your posts always make me happy.
these pictures are delightful. xxx

Lovely post, Stephanie. The little gloves are sweet, they look like Angora wool... So very soft and warm!;)
